QUILTING WITH JACKIE QUILT CAMP 2019
ABOUT QUILT CAMP
Quilting Camp provides a weekend quilting class with learning opportunities for both novice and confident quilters. This quilt camp is different than a retreat in that you choose one of the quilts being taught and then work on your chosen project.
This year there is a choice of THREE quilts to make at quilt camp, shown below. The patterns are offered in a variety of sizes to meet your needs and quilting skill level. Click on each the three quilts shown below to learn more about each one.
Careful, step-by-step instruction is given in a fun learning environment at quilting camp. You will learn techniques that will improve your quilting skills and Jackie will always be available to assist you between classes.
Quilt Camp Registration Fee - $190.00*
Registration fee includes seven meals (Friday lunch, evening, Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Sunday breakfast and lunch), two nights lodging, instructional classes on how to make your selected quilt, and all activities at quilt camp. Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation of receipt of your form within 24 hours or less. There may be an additional fee for pattern book, rulers or other supplies required for your particular quilt. Thank you. *(There was an increase in cost at the quilt camp this year for food and lodging and, consequently, I needed to adjust my fee accordingly.)
$50 Deposit Required to register for quilt camp
To register for quilt camp, you must make a non-refundable $50 deposit, which will be deducted from the quilt camp registration fee. The balance of the quilt camp registration fee will be payable at quilt camp upon your arrival. You may pay the entire registration fee at this time if you desire to do so.
Plan to arrive at quilt camp on Friday at or after 11:00 to begin setting up and have an early lesson to get started on your quilting project. On Sunday, you can stay throughout the afternoon to work on your quilt - we must all be cleared out at the latest by 4:00 pm. We look forward to working with you at quilt camp this year!
Jackie has been sewing and quilting for many years, and is a retired home economics teacher. She is recognized in the quilting community as an expert quilter. Her easy going teaching style makes it so easy and fun to learn from her.
